Great Taste Award winners: Our faves

Great Taste Award winners: Our faves

When Hannah started INTUNE less than a year ago, she set out to create CBD drinks that also taste delicious. As a team of taste experts, *we* think our drinks taste incredible... and now it's official! We are over the moon to be able to share the news that we are Great Taste Award winners. Our Grapefruit & Mint and Elderflower & Hops flavours went down so well with the judges that they decided to award both a star each! Here are some of the things the judges loved about our drinks...

“The flavour is delicate, but there is a fresh fruity zing that follows the well judged mint.”

  • Grapefruit & Mint

We like to think of ourselves as flavour pros, obsessed with making CBD taste great, so as a small start-up it’s super exciting to be recognised and applauded for this by the world’s most trusted food and drink awards

“This has pleasant, subtle, floral notes and the overall flavour is simple and refreshing.”

  • Elderflower & Hops

We love being part of such an innovative and exciting industry, which is navigating its way through strange times, and we want to shine the light on some of the other independent brands and businesses that walked away as winners...

5 other Great Taste Award winners that we love

Joe's Tea Co

Joe’s Tea Co are all about serving tea that not only tastes epic, but is also organic, sustainable and ethically sourced! From your classic English Breakfast tea to Chai Rooibos there is something for every palette.

This year at the Great Taste Awards, Joe’s Tea Co picked up five stars across five products, adding to their grand total of 30 gold stars across the range; Ever-So-English Breakfast, Queen of Green, Sweet Chamomile to name a few for all you tea lovers out there. A huge congratulations to winners, Joe’s Tea Co.

The Marshmallowist

The Marshmallowist AKA the UK’s first gourmet marshmallows. Sounds good right!? This sister owned business uses whole fresh fruits, organic herbs & spices and boutique alcohol to create delicious unexpected flavours.

Their unusual flavours won over the judges and their Cannabis and Pink Grapefruit marshmallows earned them a Great Taste star. We are dying to see what these taste like!

Something and Nothing

Something and Nothing sell seltzers for the curious, using only natural ingredients. They are on a mission to refresh both people and planet, both literally and holistically, through inspiration, culture, shared values and experiences.

Every drink in their range was awarded a seal of approval from the judges... with their full flavours and a great ethos at the heart of what they do, it’s no wonder Something and Nothing came out on top!

Bermondsey Street Bees

Sustainably produced raw English honey brand, Bermondsey Street Bees is a sustainable beekeeping practise that believes in giving back and raising money for the next generation of beekeepers. And they're just down the road from the INTUNE office!

Bermondsey Street Bees must have been buzzing with three of their honeys making them Great Taste Award winners and taking away three stars.

Rubies in the Rubble

With a third of all food produced wasted globally, Rubies in the Rubble are demonstrating that food shouldn’t be disposed of because it’s the wrong size or shape. Instead, they create condiments with ingredients that would otherwise go to waste.

This year they were named Great Taste Award winners for both their Tomato Ketchup and plant-based Chilli mayo were awarded stars - proving that there is a way around the issue of food waste and that no food should be destined for the bin.

We’re over the moon to have scooped not one but two stars from The Great Taste Awards! If you want to give our award-winning (are we bragging too much now?) flavours a try, #getINTUNE and try a can for yourself. See what all the fuss is about here.
